Curved shower track

Just got our 21NE and want to switch out the curtain track with a curved one, something like this on Amazon (https://amz.run/6z0X). Has anyone installed something like this? Have any suggestions, warnings, etc.? Thanks!

Not sure why you want to switch to a curved track. The shower curtain just keeps water from going out the door. The rest of the bathroom can get wet. That's one of my favorite things about the wet bath, is not having to deal with the shower curtain like I did with the dry bath in my previous trailer. I did upgrade the curtain itself to a cloth one, so it hangs even flatter.

Our easy fix to create the effect of a curved track was to move the hanging loops over one to create an unsupported end, and add a Command Hook to the wall such that it hooks the now free end. This creates the same effect as a curved track by giving you a 90 degree corner in the curtain. We also changed to and prefer a fabric curtain.

As previously stated, buy a cloth shower curtain, standard size, fold it in half and this works best. Good luck!

Love the idea to use a Command hook! Thanks!

Curved shower curtain rod mods are common on the Rpod forum. Folks do this so they can shower with the door open and removable curved rod, when in place, gives a little extra elbow room in an otherwise very tight wet bath.

Good thing we have Escapes not R-pods. Though I've recently lost about 60 pounds, even at 6' and 275 lbs, I had no issue with having enough space to shower.

Rumor has it that waterboarding was discovered by Rpod owners attempting to take showers in their rigs.

Curved rod from Amazon

We installed that curtain in our 2017 5.0 and to worked very well. I would post more pictures, but we sold the trailer. Maybe the current owner could pipe in with how well it has stood up.

Padamas! That's exactly what I was thinking of doing. Good to know it's working well for you. First I'll try the Commander hook idea since that's the least "invasive."
