E19 - driver’s side wire from the front bench to the bed

I have a 2023 E19. I would like to fish some wires through from under the driver seat bench to under the bed in the back.

The main wire loom goes in behind the bathroom and the outer wall, under the refrigerator, with a lot of cables coming out by the water heater. However, it doesn’t seem to be a straight shot — I can’t get an electrician’s cable fishing device through all the way, and shining a light in from under the bench illuminates the area just underneath the fridge, but doesn’t shine through in under the bed area, except for via the ventilation holes in that plywood.

Any recommendation for what the easiest path is here? Do I need to take out the fridge? Or is there a better path?

You might try cutting off the bent over tip on the electricians' tape and rotating it as you go. Another option would be a trying a braided metal cable it needs to have some stiffness to it and will do a better job of going around things.

I am using a stiff glassfkber pole. You are saying there *should* be a straight shot through there? If so, I’ll keep poking…

I did that on my Gen1 E19. I've fished a lot of wires and that was one of the trickier ones. Part of the problem is ETI's habit of rather freestyle wiring. There's lot's of wires and they're not all that well bound together in a loom.

There's a chance of getting entangled in an errant wire along this path.

I used a flexible wood batten. I only intended to snake through that path once. You can see the white cord. It's over twice the length required and stays in place. This allowed me to later pull several other wires through.

I did get snagged a couple of times but it's one of those things that might take a little bit of patience. Easy for me say now but at the time there was a little muttering and cursing.

By comparison the path in the 21C is really easy.
