I find that it makes a huge difference. I also use a directional antenna on the top of my 25’ pole. I use a weboost system with their telescoping pole. I use a mounting system off the back bumper that I remove when traveling. Nice thing about the telescoping pole is when the wind comes up too strong to leave the pole up I can bring the 5 sections down to 1 that can sustain some pretty strong winds.

Coffeeman - where/how do you bring your antenna wire into the camper to attach to the booster?
Right now I use the flat wire RG6 adapter cable that we post supplies and bring it through a closed hatch at rear of trailer but I am going to install a through-hull RG6 moiunt like escape uses for their tv input.
While it won't work for a 30' pole, I use a couple flag pole mounts to hold paint roller extensions . They are 1" diameter & extend up to 12'. One for a glow ball & the other for a weather station.
Coffeeman, thank you for the quick reply. Does the significant improvement with your 25' pole apply to data streaming as well as to voice calls. Im heading to the Yukon next summer and cell service is only in the towns. So hoping for a solution that will extend it .
