I need to purchase a new sail switch

I have a 2020 Escape 5.0.

Does anyone have a link to purchase a new sail switch for a 2020 Escape (DF Series Furnace)?

It looks like mine just failed.

Thanks.

I believe this might be the one. It's the one for the DFSAD12131 furnace.

If you have your switch out already, you can measure it and use the post below to determine the right part. There are two switches on Amazon, 33081 and 33082, and they both have different specs.

Thank you. That is the exact model number I have.

Thanks again. Now to go fix it.

Someone in the past had mentioned the two tone body switch (white/black) #36160 was the latest and greatest upgrade or replacement sail switch. I did buy one of those as a spare for my 2020 5.0TA but have no first hand knowledge on weather it truly is an “upgrade” yet. Has anyone had any experience with this one?

That is the part number given to me by Dometic for their small fan (36160) sail switch. I got the older one that Dometic still sells on their Amazon site. (Part No. 33082 for DFSAD12131 furnace)

The part number for the M/L fan is 36165, just given to me by Dometic. I never saw that one for sale.

Apparently there is a big difference and they are in no way interchangeable. Personally I do not know.

That is what I was told after being on hold forever.

Confirmed and fixed! Man that was easy and I will never be afraid of a sail switch again. This link is the right one for the stated model. Going to buy a second one and keep it in the trailer.

Already checked my work and so far so good. Even topped off my battery water while the dinette was open. I had to turn off all power before fixing.

Thanks all!

tip if your traveling with a pet. our heater wouldn't start one morning. On line someone mentioned to check if the sail switch was clogged with pet hair. Sure enough, when I removed the sail switch there was a tiny piece of hair. Blew it out, replaced the switch and then back to normal operation.

I also carry a spare sail switch just in case.
