Vinyl wall covering

Anyone know what the foam-backed wall covering is called? I want to make the Valance Bump Shelf made by Eggscape [see the wonderful https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...-12918-32.html thread] but use the the wall covering material instead of the upholstery fabric.

Anyone? Any different sources than ETI?

I believe it might be from the aviation industry but just guessing.

Worst case scenario…Or what I would do to get some…There is a great hunk of the stuff inside your cupboard below the counter top. In my 2018 the stuff separated from the white foam reasonably easy. You can then replace it with another layer of thicker white foam or any insolation and covering of your choice. You could even put a nice panel in the back of the cupboard to hide some of the red and blue pipes.

Looks like "Headliner" from marine industry. You can probably buy it online from Hamilton Marine, West Marine or Soundown (Salem, Ma).

Adding "headliner" to the searches sure made a difference. Now I have a score of options, colors, finish textures and thicknesses, apparently.

I had already cannibalized the under-cabinet piece for another small unrelated non-Escape project.

Interestingly, West Marine and Hamilton Marine don't carry fabric material. Odd.
