Battery drain

I was unable to hold a charge on a brand new battery. I couldn’t figure out what was draining the power created by my Escape installed solar panel. Finally, I saw that the tiny on off button on my Weingard Roadstar TV amplifier was depressed. It was constantly trying to get a signal and wore down the battery. I turned it off and problem solved.

Not only will tv rot your brain, but now we have evidence it will drain your trailer battery too!

I think that's a power switch for the amp.

That’s the one! Funny thing is, we’ve never had a TV in the trailer so I kind of forgot about it. It’s an all black switch, under the rear permanently installed bed. The actual switch is smaller than a wood match stick. It can only be seen by crawling on my hands and knees with a flashlight.

Mine's got a little green light, so at least I can tell someone hit it.
