Contemporary interior & side mirrors for Chevy Tahoe
two questions:
1) I know the contemporary white interior is new for this year, but does anyone currently have that type interior and how is it holding up? and is it easy to keep clean?
2) anyone using a Chevy Tahoe as a tow vehicle? if so, what side extension mirrors are you using?

We received our 21ne last week with the contemporary interior. I have no concerns with its ability to hold up. We are glad we went with it.

We picked up our 5.0 TA with the contemporary interior on 4/12/2021 and traveled for about 5 weeks back to RI. We don't foresee any problems with durability or ease of cleaning. The vinyl surface is slightly textured with a woven pattern, and the painted wood is a match with Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC-65 in a pearl finish. In the few mod's I've done (shelves in cabinets, blocking for the TV mount) I've painted the wood to match. You can order a sample of the paneling from ETI to check it out.

We bumped into George and his lovely wife in Washington in April while on a walk from a nearby campground. So fun to find other like-minded Escapees in the wild. They kindly showed us their beautiful white contemporary interior. So beautiful!!! If the white interior calls to you - go for it! -Bea

We don't have a Chevy Tahoe, but on our Ford Expedition, we use and recommend these extension mirrors:
https://www.amazon.com/Dometic-DM-29...%2C220&sr=8-37
These are a little pricier than the strap kind but well worth it. I like this design because it has a solid fit (no vibration) and they are super easy to put on and take off. We're on the hairy edge of needing extension mirrors but I prefer having a bigger and better view clear down both sides of the trailer. -Bea.

many thanks Bea. I had purchased the strap type mirrors, but bottom line is you get what you paid for. I'm taking your recommendation and will pay the extra money for what looks like a solid product.
thanks again...............(and also for the note regarding the white finish!)

We also use these extension mirrors. They do work great. I checked in to getting factory tow mirrors put on our Tahoe but was told by the Chevy dealer it couldn't be done on our model. I have read bad reviews of after market mirrors so don't want to go that way.

our chevy dealer also said "no go" on factory tow mirrors for the Tahoe. Thanks for the feedback.
