Didn’t you fill out a spreadsheet with your options?

It’s called the Options Sheet

Well, that's interesting. My E19 is a month old and I'm certain that it was an option on our Build Sheet, which would have been finalized a few months ago.
I suspect this is something new - perhaps came into affect with the recent price increase?

It’s true the Build Sheet is what we signed as the contract, but it’s actually a build sheet. The ETI production crew tapes it to the side of the trailer on the line, to track as they - you know - build the trailer.

Nope. Maybe the 5.0 is a different process.
Either way, I now have my counter extension - just need to install!

When I installed at home a factory item like the flip up shelves, I reinforced the mounting location to handle the added stress.

For example, the flip up by the door has access under the sink. I placed strips of 1x1 inside for the attachment to grab.

Hi. When it is down, is the extension loose or is it attached to the wall? Ours is loose and that doesn't seem right.
Thanks, Art

Hi: akast... For our 5.0TA we ordered a counter extension like in the 19's. When you fold it down there's a detent position that you need to push in or it will be loose. It also needs extra reinforcing in the cabinet. Alf

For anyone wanting to install a counter extension (or anything else) on the kitchen wall (door side) of an E19 here is the framing drawing so that you can screw into something solid.
