DOOR on 17B Outta whack

HI There..
I have a 2017 17b and the door is not fitted right. The trailer is level front to back and side to side. I dont really see a way to adjust it, does anyone have a suggestion. Images attached...Thanks in advance

Back on 11/24/20 in the "friends helping friends" forum, Bobbie54 had a problem similar to yours, and several folks posted methods on how to correct/repair the problem. Look it up and scroll through the responses to see if the answer to your problem is there.

Seems the 2nd generation flat doors get out of shape occasionally just from the jouncing and bouncing they get from going down the road.

Here's the link to the thread... https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...ate-19548.html
See post #19 in that thread. In vlj's case, and based on that post, it may be necessary to bend the door a bit by placing a block of wood near the bottom and pushing at the top. My truck door needed this a while back!

Mike G, thanks for posting the link directly. I still don't know how to do that stuff on this site, just depend on memory. At my age, maybe that's not such a good idea...

George: I just find the thread via “Search Site / Google” under the search tab and then just cut and paste the URL into my post.

Wow! That search function actually works. Now let's see how long my memory works.

Thanks for the tip

We had the same problem with our door when our 21 was still under warranty so we stopped by Escape and they just adjusted the tightness of the hinges. It took them 2 minutes. We were in for our windows leaking, so it was nice to get both fixed. (They just added rain guards, which are standard now).
