It might be interesting to delve into the literature for your (Victron?) inverter and battery bank to see what the 'limiting link in the chain' is with regard to safely handling short-duration inverter demand surges in that system.
It might be the short-duration battery discharge rate, the short-duration inverter rating, or even the size of the cable between them installed by ETI.
It seems that ETI has perhaps 'upped their game' lately insofar as such things, but it's possible they still have not 'optimized' the system for the maximum safe short-duration inverter demand surge that the components are capable of handling.
A carefully considered minor 'tweak', guided by Victron criteria,
might improve your system's ability to safely and better accommodate the surge situation you encountered.
Though I can certainly understand you may be loath to tinker with any of that on your brand-new-in-warranty trailer.
