Fridge lights

Eight weeks into our trip the fridge lights go out inside and on the control panel. They come back on in a little while. This is on electric and on gas. Seems to be running fine other than that. Any suggestions?

Electronic demons

Guessing only. Loose connection somewhere, corroded inter-connection somewhere, the last possibility are demons in your wiring, etc.

If you can, pry panels off (do online research to find out where and how) to the lighting panel or control panel or any other connections.

It is an intermittent occurrence, (temp related?) and can be found if you go slow.

That's how I'd approach this issue.

I'd start by checking for 12vdc in the back where it comes in from the WFCO when the lights are off and work one direction or the other from there. I'm taking it that the 12vdc terminals are accessible like mine are. You didn't say what fridge model.

So....it doesn't stay off long enough to find problem. I did get time to wiggle the wires and plugs from outside once. No luck finding the problem. I tried jarring the control panel and opened and shut doors, but nothing. We did 35 miles of gravel road today which shook everything else up.

It's the large Dometic 5.0. 2017 trailer
