Help Coleman Mach 45000 will not start

Hello Fellow Escapee's...

We picked up our beautiful Escape 21 NE last spring and traveled across to the Adirondacks where she currently resides. We only used the AC twice this summer.. and now it will not power up.

Tried checking breakers, power on off etc etc. Fuse appears fine.

Looking for suggestions - manual - not particularly helpful nor their website.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Thank you,

Dennis and Maricelis.

I know electrician, but is it possible that the capacitor has gone kaput? Just a guess? If so, it is a easy fix. I’ve had good luck on YouTube. There is one guy in particular he goes by.
“My RV Works” he really explains everything in simple terms. Good luck because it’s hot.

I'm thinking A Mach 10 15,000 btu unit ?, as a 45,000 btu unit would never start on a 30 amp 120v circuit!

You on shore power?

Everything else 120v based work?

What "fuse" are you referring to?

Have an EMS? Remember it has a time delay. EMS readout OK?

As you stated you have only used it twice - be sure you know how to use the thermostat / bluetooth to your phone / whatever.

Does the A/C make any noise at all when you try to turn it on? Humming / buzzing / thunps / clicks, etc.?

Does the fan come on, or nothing at all?

Are you "electrically inclined"? Have a digital multimeter?

Hi Thank you for all the info. Not particularily electrical inclined.

Model 45203-6953 Mach 10.S 13.5 ND A/C SS

My manual is out of date - it says "knobs" where ours is digital.

Fuse - 30 am on panel - replaced and it was not burnt out.

Powered entire trailer down three times.

Checked fuse at main panel, fine... same system on sites beside mine.. their AC running fine off campsite power... as did ours whe we tried it... and it worked for a day three weeks ago.

Saw previous comment on capacitor.

Thank you!

What amp amp fuse on what panel?

Are you are using the term fuse for a breaker?

This one? (White arrow at bottom right pointing to green 30 amp fuse, which is for the fridge?) If so that is 12 volt DC power and has nothing to do with your 120 volt AC power to your air conditioner.

The right side of that panel is all 12 volt DC "fuses". The left are all the 120 volt AC power "breakers". The air conditioner is usually on a 20 amp breaker on the left side (120 volt service side)

A mobile RV / air conditioner tech may be the best route for you...........
