How to remove Vista Plus Screen

Hello all,

I am in the process of replacing the original Vista Screen and I am stumped on what I am missing in the removal process. I have removed the top and bottom pieces but cannot figure out how to remove the track that the screen housing sits in. There is no room to slide it up and out. Any help in what I am missing to remove the forward housing from the frame.

Of course I figured it out right after posting. Continued viewing of the Seiki directions finally clicked as the housing "clicks" into the track. Thanks in advance for the help. Mike

I finished the Vista Screen mesh cartridge replacement. The new screen cartridge had been sitting in our garage for a few years now. Since I just used the back up cartridge, I just ordered a new "back up cartridge" for use at some point in the future.

Glad you got it. That clicking out of and into place was what stumped me too the first time I did it. It needed a bit of force but once you understand the whole process it's pretty easy!

I have extra screen for the future but figured out you can just cut off the end that's damaged, re-sew a channel for the rod and reuse the old screen.
