Install air conditioner

Anyone have tips/videos/pictures on installing roof ac unit? We wanted a different ac than ETI offers and want to install it ourselves to save a few bucks.

Too heavy to use a step ladder to carry it up there, risking serious damage to the roof as well as to your back. Even with a winch, probably best done as a 2-man job.

I'm getting ready to put a Houghton/RecPro unit on our new trailer so I've watched
a few videos.
This is the most complete one I've seen.
It's not an escape so not everything applies but it's pretty good.

Nice video reference. At about 7:45, the video announces to not over torque the bolts in order to not over compress the gasket. For an Escape, was there a torque spec you used?

I used my tractor winch to lift off the old unit and to install the one. Saved a lot of moaning n groanin* for this old geezer
