Napoleon TravelQ Pro 285 in 5.0TA front compartment?
Asking specific to the Napoleon TravelQ Pro 285, can anyone confirm based on experience that this specific grill will fit in the current generation 5.0TA front compartment sitting normal / upright on its non-folding legs?
I think the answer is "yes", just checking for any 'gotchyas'.
Thanks in advance!

Have to take the lid off to fit into the rear hatch on my E19.
They make a kit to run it off your propane quick connect.

I have the TravelQ 285 with the folding legs. This is the countertop version without fixed legs or fixed handles.
It stores in a smaller space. This link shows those dimensions in the manual. https://www.napoleon.com/sites/defau...A-2Nov2020.pdf
Hope that helps.

Yeah, I also have the folding leg, "Red" TravelQ 285 and it came with a griddle included. Works well.
I think that actual grill size is the same on both.

The Travel 285 fits with the legs folded, not sure if the different legs and the higher top on the PRO would be the 'gotchya'

The TravelQ 285 with the folding legs and no handle is the “portable” version and the Pro285 is the same unit but has fixed legs and fixed handles for those who want a home unit that doesn’t travel as much.

Those forum members who follow Centex with any regularity know he is thorough, precise, considerate, and very helpful to others.
In this case, yes he knows the measurements published by Napoleon, but obviously he is not completely certain whether that BBQ will fit into that compartment in the 5.0, and I'm sure he has the measurements of that space too. The measurements must be close and he was hoping someone could provide real world experience whether the door gets in the way, or some other factor makes it hard to get that BBQ into that compartment.
I'll stop now.

Yep, and I've done this side-by-side to scale, too. There's several reasons I'm drawn to the Pro over the 'standard', YMMV.
Just asking for applicable real-world experience for a little reassurance before I hit the order button.

I picked up one of these from a Japanese restaurant closing down, now I use a blackstone griddle. Blackstone is nice but something like this on a smaller scale would be ideal, portable even better. For me the griddle top is easier to maintain.
After what happened in Arizona last week I’m not sure I’d want the grill underneath where I sleep. Bear attacks are something new to me, it’s like Winnie the Pooh land here compared to that. I have the bear spray but it was a rifle that finally took the adult male black bear down, too late. I do wish I could find out the caliber used, I’m headed close by there in a few months.

Nevermind, I discovered an error in my trailer dimension notes - the Pro is a no-go (unless the lid is removed)

We have a Napoleon TravelQ 285 (non pro...whatever that brings) and it fits perfect in our 2022 5.0 front storage. Awesome grill. We also have the griddle with it that also works great.

The two-burner Napoleon for sure - sometimes I like my fish / asparagus / brussels sprouts / etc directly char-grilled, sometimes baked in a foil pouch with indirect heat.

Napoleon TravelQ 285 has been sold with two different lids , one is much taller than the other. I have both lids i bought the taller lid to fit a whole chicken in when I want.
