relocating tank heating pad switches

Has anyone tried to move the tank heating pad switches on the 21c? They are located in a very inconvenient spot (under the driver side dinette bench), Moreover, you can readily forget to turn them off and run down your battery when you pack up and leave an electrified campsite. I thought that a pair of illuminated switches could be mounted on the face of the bench. They would be easy to get to and it would be apparent if the pads were on.

Sounds like a good idea, While you are at it you might want to add a second switch to your electric heating element in the two way water heater if you have it.

That's the one I forgot to turn off, then didn't plug into electricity again until the trailer was winterized and no water in the water heater tank.

It didn't ruin anything, the breaker tripped, and heating element still works but it would be really good to have an illuminated internal switch for this just like the gas water heater switch and water pump switch.
