Replacement Front Corner protector

One of the front corner protectors on my 2015 Escape 19 is torn. Is this an aftermarket part or dealer only? I’d like to replace it before our next trip. Does anyone know how to get a replacement? Thanks

They were specially made for ETI trailers without the storage box. It will be call ETI, custom canvas / upholstery shop, or diy.

Sounds expensive going to a custom shop. I hope they’re something ETI sells. Thanks

I just bought a replacement set of the front corner chip guards for our E19 from ETI. Total cost with shipping was about $75. Not a bad price in my opinion.

I had mine made

I bought some Naugahyde, had some foam backing and had a buddy with an industrial sewing machine crank 2 out.
A local to you canvas shop is worth a query on pricing.

Or, tell you what...

I knew I was going to install a utility box on the tongue of our 2015 E19, so told Escape to not install the snaps to the shell, but give me the covers anyhow (cuz ya never know). I've had them sitting around - never used - and had been planning all along to offer them on the forum, but never got around to it.

So there ya go. What's your highest bid?

Just kidding. I'll send them to you - just maybe slip me some cash to cover the postage and my "trouble" for the post office run and they're yours!

Just PM me if you're interested.

ETI responded to my inquiry asking me to send them a photo because there is more than one design. I quess there are different locations for the snaps. I sent them the photo today so hopefully I’ll have an idea what they cost soon. Thanks for the offer. I might take you up on it.

I sort of did the opposite. I knew that I was going to make a custom box as I'd done twice before but I was happy to have the extra protection so they installed them. Then I ended up with a free factory box because I was a returning customer. Those were the good old days.

So maybe I have a one of a kind, factory protective pads and a factory box.

OK - I can send you a pic of what I’ve got snap-location-wise so you can maybe see if they agree with yours…

Ok - let me know how your order shakes out. There is someone lined up right behind you to grab them if you don’t.

Here’s a pic of what mine look like snap-location-wise.

Those look just like mine. I’ve got the new ones from Escape installed now. I was a little worried that the bottom snaps were torn away from the fabric and rusty. I got them off and everything is fine.

Mine were torn when we bought the trailer used last spring. I'm pretty sure someone tried to tug on the vinyl to unsnap them during removal and that's how they tore. I use a small flat head screw driver to separate the snaps with only minimal force on the vinyl. It takes a bit longer to do it that way, bu the chance of tearing the material is greatly reduced.
