Well shoot. I didn't see any indication in the link that it was a Heng product. I used to have a link to a metal 9x9 lid. It was on a teardrop page. Maybe I can find it again....

As noted in a few posts above we did the fan upgrade. You could see if Escape still sells those kits which has a fiberglass adapter and Ventline Vanair fan. Great upgrade. Alternatively, you might want to look at retrofitting a marine hatch. They are expensive but very good quality. Bomar makes one that needs a 9.5" x 9.5" cutout so you might just need to do some minor trimming to the opening. They are out of stock on this site but they seem to have the best information.

Lewmar also makes one requiring an 8-5/16" square cutout

Not suggesting you could just drop these in. Might take some customizing. Also you need to make sure you have a trim kit and screen.

You could get a piece of marine plastic to cover the 9x9 hole and then use the vent line vent. Not perfect, but it’s a possibility.

I agree that something like King Starboard would work well if sealed properly to the roof.

Escape replacement kit

I can confirm that Escape has the molds for the replacement shroud and they have provided me a new shroud and inner roof replacement cover. The pieces they provided do not have the pre-drilled mounting holes or the fan hole, however, I think this works far better as I used a template to match and drill holes from my exterior opening.
