Solar Suitcase Question

Hi all. I am wanting to purchase 2-100w solar suitcases. One with a controller and one without. (https://ca.renogy.com/renogy-100-wat...of-controller/)

I currently have a roof mounted 100w panel with its own 30amp controller and 4-6v batteries.

Two questions. First, can I have both the suitcase panels and the rooftop panels connected to the batteries at the same time or do I need to disconnect one before using the other? Second, the Renogy panels are 12v. Will they work with my 4-6v batteries?

Assuming you have connected the 4 6v batteries in a series parallel combination to produce 12V, the portable panels can work combined with the rooftop panel. If you use a panel with a built in controller, you need to connect it directly to the 12V connection of the batteries. The portable panel without the controller can be connected to the input of the rooftop panel to the built in controller as long as the voltages of each are close (within a volt or two). If the voltages of the rooftop & portable panel are close, you could also bypass the controller on the panel that has one built in & connect all three panels to the input of the trailer's controller.
