TMPS what metal vailve stems?

I ordered a tireminder solar powered TMPS system for 19' .
Ti reminder says it will work with the rubber valve stems, but recommend metal valve stems. After doing some research on this It appears it might be a wise choice to go to metal valve stems. doing a amazon search there is all different brands for $2.50 each to $25 each. does any one have a brand they recommend for the escape wheels? I have the white painted steel rims .

I did this last year on our 5.0. I just went to my local Discount Tire store. They charged $25 for all four and no charge for labor. ( I had recently replaced the tires on my car so I had a good relationship with the rep). It was very quick and easy. NOTE. Double check your tire minder model and make sure you get the right valve stems. TM recommends brass or stainless steel depending on your model.

Mine are stainless steel and I really like them! They are rock solid.

Are you sure there stainless steel? most metal valve stems are made of brass and coated with chrome or nickel.
All TireMinder kits come with brass transmitters.witch would work with a brass coated valve stem They do recommend buying there aluminum Transmitters if you have aluminum stems.

Now that I think about it, they could be chrome/nickel. They are definitely not brass. They have an outer sleeve and a valve inside the sleeve.

I bought these and they have held up well over thousands of miles.
