Water standing in 5.0 kingpin box

Anybody come up with a solution to water collecting inside your 5.0 kingpin box?
I am thinking of drilling a couple of drain holes at the bottom. Maybe 3/16in to allow drainage.
Don’t think that would affect structural integrity. Going to rust from the inside out if I don’t do something.

Hmmm, no water accumulation, mine has a generous 3/8" drain hole from the factory

Here is a thread on this subject. I had the same problem. Added two drain holes at the end corners. Removed the pin box, sand blasted and repainted. No more problems.
