Winter Storage With Trailer Cover

For winter storage with a trailer cover on do you still keep your Max Air vent cover open partially ? I am kind wondering if the weight of snow on top of the cover will damage the vent if left partially open.

I've left mine open over two snowy winters on Oswego, NY (spent the last one in the Arizona desert, which is a much better idea) with no problems.

And hopefully we don't get the snow load this year in Wisconsin that we got last year.

Thanks guys for you input Jon base on your experience I am going to leaving the Maxair Fan open about 1/2 inch under the trailer cover this winter. Mr. Gbaglo that a great suggestion to lock the nub on the vent. To tell you the truth I totally forgot that you can lock the vent cover.
Eric I see you are a Wisconsinite hope someday we can run into each other. Yeah as far as another snowy winter I hope this year we can miss some of that snow we had last year.
