Comfort height varies so if you shop for one (other than a Thetford!) you can get anything from about 15-18. The Thetford is 17.5 to the seat which is just over 4 1/2 inches more than the low profile...

I love them. Shouldn't need a grab bar if I can do the taller toilet. Though for the record, Escape says they can put one in the bathroom.

I asked about it, was told, yes, they could probably put it in. Definitely something I'll go for if they can. Specs on the toilets suggest height is the only difference.
