Studs are still legal in CO and in every state/province between here and Chilliwack. I checked before picking up my trailer in March.

I had visions of pulling out studs with a pair of pliers at customs; but they were fine in BC, as well.

It's "wintertime" when the road is no longer "bare and wet", chains are advised or required, or my wife get's nervous.
