When we sit ( or lay ) on seat cushions there is a tendency for the fabric to " travel down word " because the fabric "rounds the cushion " when the fabric is cut and piping is added it does give a more structured or tailored look and function because the fabric now has a squared form rather than just " sliding " around the edges . This does help to some degree that twisting around of the cushion case . Piping is a lot more work and a lot more time -
every cushion is tailored ,

Yeah, with thought of the potential colour clash, but I am not going to worry a lot about matching the truck, as that is near impossible.

I did go finish it. It looks great. I am going to have to take some photos. I have to go back to finish some detail work on the fence. The gate I built is just over 13' between posts, and it works great. Easy to use, and very strong.

They are quite similar, flowers on a black background. Both are nice.

This is what I like about folks choosing fabric, laminate and flooring. Rarely have I seen something I did not like, and most often stuff that looks great, with some things I might not even consider myself.

My wife still hasn't forgiven me for commenting, as she modeled a new flowered dress, "you look like a sofa".

More photos of "The Trailer"

It's actually starting to look like something we can spend time in!

Custom flooring: Manhattan 999 from IVC

Custom countertop: Basalt Slate 3690-58 w/black trim

Custom sink: Bianco Diamond mini, anthracite

Custom faucet: Bianco 44120 Torino Jr, anthracite (yes, the faucet is on the other side; I figured I'd knock into it less over there - we'll see how that plan works over time)

Drawer unit (at foot of bed) extended to ceiling (I thought it would extend to the bottom of the overhead cabinets, so I'm thrilled it actually goes to the ceiling. I can use that space better than the overheads)

"old" style arrangement of cabinets, as opposed to leaving out the narrow, top one over the microwave cabinet

First photo shows everyone huddled around, exclaiming over what a stunning combination of flooring, countertop and sink/faucet they just installed.

Enjoy! I know we are!

Love your floor and laminate choices...it's absolutely stunning!

I thought ETI wouldn't do under-the-counter-mounted sinks? But it doesn't quite look like that either so I'm confused.

A beauty!

They won't Karen, as it is quite complicated to actually do it in a laminate countertop. This sink is a drop-in one.

Thanks Karen. The flooring is pretty cushy, so I'm looking forward to walking all over it. And I've got a wide selection of snap covers for the screws for the kitchen, so we'll see in Dec which ones I decide on.

The sink is a drop in. I verified it would work before purchasing it from Pioneer Building. And I know it'll work great as Nathan got the exact same sink (well, not physically, but you know what I mean ) in his 5.0TA this summer. (And I think he has the same countertop, but a different faucet.)
