Hi Frank! You don’t need to own an Escape to participate. In fact, it is the perfect opportunity to see all the models and how each owner has tweaked their rigs. We attended our first rally there in our Casita, but if you don’t have a trailer, consider taking a hotel room.

Hope to see you there!

We will be going up from Texas, but won’t be able to join the caravan. Hope to visit friends and family along the way. But, can’t wait to meet you when we arrive!

How about a California Caravan? We target arriving at Osoyoos the Wednesday before the Rally, and usually leave Santa Cruz the Saturday before. Last year we spent the first night in Mt. Shasta, two nights at Maryhill, and the last night at Winthrop, which is just a short hop to Osoyoos. Send a PM with an e-mail and maybe we can start working something up!

395 is a most interesting route. We came home that way from the Rally last time. In Oregon, it's a 2 lane highway that explores the mountains in central Oregon, with small towns, changing scenery, almost no traffic at all, but few gas stations. Get gas at half tank. We did, on a hunch, and it's a good thing we did.

I want to attend but am reluctant because of one small issue...

Would some kind person kindly provide a phonetic pronunciation for the place names in question?

Otherwise I will be too embarrassed to make reservations.

Thanks,
Alan

The pronunciation guide is right there on the bottle. Nk'Mip: in-Ka-meep. And QwAM QwMT: kw-em kw-empt. The words are meaningful to the Osoyoos Indian Band of the Okanagan (British Columbia) First Nation.Dec 20, 2012
Say what? Say Nk'Mip for superb B.C. wines | Winter 2012 ...
