Road 13 Vineyards. It was one of our favorites during the wine tour.

Close encounter of the Devils Tower kind. We've visited several times and it's always fascinating. Camped there two nights with the Boy Scouts in 97 and walked around it on the nice trail. Love the prairie dogs there too. # 102 post

Jon has an advantage over some of us, due to his long history of travels to obscure places in his Escape.

I admit to finding obscure places, but both of these are California State Parks.

Now, for obscure, how about this. Hint - it is not the climb to Angel's Landing at Zion.

I know the campsite one -- it's Red Rock Canyon State Park near Mojave CA. The other is a ghost town, but no idea where. California desert?

EDIT: Aha! Bodie. (I cheated with a Google search).

Your got the campground; some of the neatest sites I've found, at least in a formal park.

As to the church (#63), here is another photo of the park:

Lol...only reason I know this one is I've been working in Phoenix and Tucson for the last two weeks. Currently on a plane to Tucson from Phoenix.

Picacho Peak.

#119 looks like a food truck we used to see in UT.
Just looked up top food truck in UT and it is from Moab which is why we'd seen it. Spent a lot of time there.
