I had hip scope surgery on August 21, thus we won't be able to go camping until late September or early October. I'm happy that we had our journey home with the Escape and had some great camping, but this surgery albeit planned has put a temporary damper on the first camping season with our new 21. At least I can look out of the window and see her in the driveway!
So I started thinking about what other things might keep one from camping? Sure, there are things like work and other commitments, but I want to be out there as much as possible when the hip is ready. During my recovery, I am pondering how we might take advantage of the time ahead of us to get out and camp and explore as much as possible. Maybe the better question is what do you do to camp as much as you can? Ok, enough of the rambling for now...
