looks great that's a project i would like to do. Are you doing anything to the steps to decrease slipping potential?

Can you please take a top down picture of the top step?
Would like to see what the space inside there looks like.

I put a bottom in the top step so it's 8 in deep.

We installed a removable bottom. Once the bottom is removed we can put our 100 watt Renogy portable solar panel into the back of the large lower area (we rarely use the portable) and reinstall the bottom of the top step. There is about 1" of clearance between the bottom and the top of the portable. Works great.

Enjoy,

Perry

Is there a space behind the front storage boxes that can be accessed under the top step?

What was the point in having the top step floor so shallow? Did I miss your explanation?

My wife had better use of it for shallow than deep.

We put four pair of shoes in the top step. Unless you have something really tall needing storage that area without a floor is pretty useless.

Enjoy,

Perry
