Nice Ron. I did install 2 Hook and Eye latches which locks crates into place for traveling. Those are accessible when opening the door. Plus, I swapped out latch for a more favorable one.

Jumboscott do you have pictures of the hook and eye latches plus the different latch? My latch that holds the door closed had to be moved from the side to the top. I am to that point with my own under the bed unit.

I just may stop at Home Depot on the way home and pick up a couple.
Thanks!

Looks like the setup I once had in the bed of my Ford ranger yrs ago.
We already have the crates and zip ties..and probably still have the rollers.
??s
1. how thick are the wood pieces
2. did you add a set of rollers in middle?
3. how did you secure it so it does not roll around?
Thanks!!

Ok, my underbed storage unit is finished except for the threshold piece. I looked at Home Depot and didn’t see anything like it. I can see where it would be needed to protect the hoses. Any suggestions?

I bent mine up from lightweight aluminum. Easy enough to do even without a sheet metal brake. Clamp between two pieces of wood and wack away.
My front caster wheels rest against it and it serves as a front stop to keep the drawer assembly from moving forward and pushing on the door.

Thanks for the photo. I had tried the hook-and-eye on the top and it didn't work. This is better. I'll try the magnetic latch as well.

how about a dowel across that slips into an eye hook on one side and an open hook on the other?
