I took it to the local boat repair shop. We just cound't nail down the cause. Could be a rock hit, could be the pressure from the frame. Who knows. It would be super painful to fix from inside due to cabinets, so he did it from exterior for VERY reasonable price. Pic attached. He matched the color very well! He put some caulking between the frame and shell, hoping that it would help reducing the direct contact. Will see. Would be nice to have some rubber mount to absorb the shock/impact... He did warn me that it could happen again in the future. But, now I know where to go and price was awesome. So happy to find a place locally.
