2025 Dodge Ramcharger

Anyone have any thoughts about the new Dodge Ramcharger plug in hybrid truck to be released in 2025 as a tow vehicle for Escape trailers?

Hi, Nellie. We have a relatively new F-150 Powerboost hybrid, so we’re not in the market for a new tow vehicle. Other folks on this forum are looking at the Ramcharger though. Here are a couple threads on the topic for you to check out. Hope it helps…….

Nellie,

Howdy, neighbor!

We bought a 2024 RAM 1500 Limited 5 weeks ago <in Eugene no less!> to tow our 21C. I certainly like the idea behind the Ramcharger, but I don't anticipate replacing my new tow vehicle anytime soon. I've heard the price tag might well be north of $100K!

Interesting truck for sure, at 14,000 lb tow capacity it won't even know it has an Escape hooked to its back. I wonder how much towing will decrease the estimated towing distance of 690 miles but I guess does not really matter since 300-400 makes a full day for many. I've never been a fan of Dodge products but will admit this truck is interesting for sure.

Enjoy the Journey,
Steve

I agree. I've been a pretty diehard Ford F150 fan but with a 90+kwh battery pack and a V6 Pentastar gas engine, this truck, in my opinion, hits all the right notes; unlimited range as long as there are gas stations around and, enough range in the city for anybody's needs; tons of power too.

The only thing I want to see is how reliable this truck turns out to be especially as a tow vehicle?
