I've already ran a charge wire to the battery. I had some #10 teck cable (industrial aluminum jacketed cable) and pulled the inner cable out of it which has its own rubber jacket on it and snaked along side the brake lines. It is well protected and that gives me a spare wire even if I also run a dedicted negative wire back. The only good thing about being stuck at home these days is there is time to work on things like this.

As I detailed in an earlier thread, they had quite a time with the wiring too. But the tech did an outstanding job. He was very conscientious so I guess I wasn’t too surprised when I saw the second sticker although I didn’t know they did that. I had an aftermarket hitch installed on the 2012 so no sticker but the Curt Hitch served well for 181,000 miles.

Noticed several here who tow a 19’ Escape. I am shopping and plan to haul with an AWD Highlander so am interested in comments. Approx. weight of loaded 19’ Escape and tongue weight?

You can use the filter functions of the "Trailer Weights in the Real World" spreadsheet to find the average, lowest & highest weights of a bunch of 19s.
