My 2020 XLT does not have the light check feature. It would seem to be easier to use without having to use the Ford Pass app. But that being said, once I connect the umbilical cord I do not have to open an app or get back in the truck using the key fob to check the lights. I’m not sure if I had a newer truck with this feature that I would use it. I can understand why others might prefer to use the feature. As is often stated, YMMV

Have to agree. We've only used the light check feature a couple of times but it isn't very convenient to access and we already have a routine in place that doesn't take any additional time. When I travel solo, it's no big deal to get out and check the signals.
