Alert/Info: gvt opens more areas to free access!!

Dept of Veteran Affairs announced that they were 'opening up more lands' to: :
Veterans, & members of Gold Star families.... to allow benefit from free access to US National Parks, Refuges and Public Lands ...as of Veterans Day this year[Nov 11, 2020]. Any of several gvt IDs are acceptable, including State Driver Licenses with Veteran 'endorsements' printed on them..US ..(as we use in TN)

I see that URL works! I do not yet know of they are going to give discounts... for camping. I could not find any description for IDs needed to be a Gold Star family member, tho I suspect that there are some gvt-accepted IDs for that category of person.

Hopefully they will lift the quarantine status of the states involved in using these areas.....

Yes, I 4got that little tweak. I even wanted to name our E21 "Sociable Distancing"
