About every 10-15,000 miles or 2 years which ever comes first. I use a synthetic grease from Mobil 1 myself. It also allows you to have a good look at the brakes and tires for free.

Grease

When I gave Dexter my axle ID tag info, they sent me this paper showing what grease was compatible with the bearings and grease that they installed……We have a 2020 5.0TA

If you're doing a complete bearing maintenance, it doesn't matter which of the recommended grease you use. Basically you're starting from scratch. After all, you will have used solvent on the bearings and they'll be grease free, wiped the spindle of grease and replaced the seals.

I use Lucas Red 'n Tacky.

My dexter dealer has Lucas grease that I’ve used several times. Last
Time there he had some dexter branded grease so I bought a tube and it’s
Been running about 5,000 miles. I will pull things apart as our Camping season starts in less than a month. I use dexter Seals and Timken bearings. I had a Napa bearing go to hell for
No particular reason so I’m done with them for life. The dexter brake sets are made in the USA. These things work for me. Also always new inner seals every time I remove the inner (larger) bearing. Seals are about $3 each now and I buy a set ahead.
60 years or so of servicing my own trailer bearings and about 50 on trailer brakes, surge and electric.
