Winterize in Southern Nevada?

I live in Las Vegas where there is an average of 8 freezing days a year. I just received delivery of my 21 NE which came winterized and am considering a short trip to Lake Havasu next week for a few days with the kids for our maiden trip.

De-Winterizing and then winterizing again seems like a hassle for a 2 day trip. I am ok not using the water system in the trailer for the trip but if the trailer doesnt need to stay winterized I may as well de-winterize it now.

The trailer is in an outdoor covered storage facility.

Should I keep it winterized during the 'colder' months here or does it not matter?

Thanks!

It matters

It matters, but depends. How cold and for how long?.

Get a sufficient air compressor, blow out plug and antifreeze. It doesn’t take long to do. Your toilet valve is most susceptible to damage.
Having fun is a lot of work.

Use your rig, and be prepared to spend 1/2 hour afterwards winterizing.

It ain’t no big deal.

Just use the 3 way valve at the water pump. Put the 12" intake hose in the RV antifreeze, turn the HW heater water valves towards each other, turn on the pump and each faucet in turn until you see pink. Bingo, winterized. You will not even use 1 gal of antifreeze.

Except the toilet valve and of all the parts needing to be winterized, this is it.

as someone who has never winterized and been camping only a handful of times this seems a bit daunting, esp while dealing with a 2yo and 7yo!

it doesnt get below 30F here for more than 10 hours at a time, maybe 8x a year. i was just trying to avoid buying more stuff and dealing with more things to do for a short trip!
