Yes, that is a good thing for people to be aware of.

For us, the flush mount in a 17 will give us more accessible kitchen counter space and make it easier to use cutting boards and a larger dish drying rack. So this seems like it will be useful for all meals. For when we do use the stove, controls on the side may be a little annoying, but it’s a trade off we’re happy to make to have the kitchen counter space.

Eggscape 19

Progressing well...the only thing strange to me is the red and blue water lines at the rear of the trailer. From past pics I expected them along the top of the front of the bed. Hope they are not sitting on the floor behind the side hatch. Maybe not...somewhere they have to rise to the top of the wheel well for the kitchen.
Much easier if a single person wants to remove the bed cupboard, install night tables on each side and a single bed as discussed before.

They're not. The water lines aren't routed anywhere near the hatch on the kitchen side. Your side hatch should be fine.

Yes, mine are routed the same. There's a 90 degree elbow as soon as they leave the kitchen.

Ours also are the same. Weird if yours aren’t. Did you have them do something odd with an exterior shower or something?

Oh, I see now. Didn't notice them in your earlier photo even though you circled them. My eyes must be failing. Strange. You don't want the lines on the floor right behind the hatch. Perhaps they stay up under the bed frame and don't drop to the floor until the back corner? Might wanna ask. Based on where the water heater and inlet are located, this new route seems like a longer run of pipe.

My guess is that these are unconnected lines just laying on the floor before installation.

No external shower etc. Maybe they are pre made and waiting for install as mentioned.

Eggscape 19

Last pictures before the Easter long weekend.
Looks like my water pipes have ended up in the correct place and are nicely tie wrapped.
If they keep up this build rate, I can’t see why they would not be done by the end of next week!

I would like to see a couple of pictures showing the inside of an Escape 21 before any of the internal insulation is installed. I hope this shows where the boards are attached to the inside of the hull that support the cabinets and other inside structures.

The other day I was trying to run a wire up the back driver's side corner, behind the corner vinyl, into the upper cabinet. I think I ran into a supporting board, but wasn't sure. If I knew for sure, I may have decided to drill through it.

you probably won't be able to get photos but can you find out if the doorway of the Escape 19 is reinforced in such a way that an interior grab bar can be installed? thanks!
