Sigh, not in 2018. I'm attending Ian's 50th Boler Caravan next August in Winnipeg. That's going to be a loooong, expensive trip because I want to do it ALL

Osoyoos is a short trip for you, and your charm would be much appreciated.

I am planning on being in Winnepeg too, that will be a lot of fun.

Oh, and I am still working and have a new home to do major renovating on, and........

It's no longer about time... I'm retired! It's the budget.

I'm expecting the 50th Boler Caravan will be a month to six week trip, or more. Everything from Banff to Niagara Falls... and that's just in Canada. I'm going to try and convince my travel mate to go all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. Shoot, it's only another 1-1/2" on the map

Yeah, budget. I keep using up potential retirement time to increase the budget.

Sounds like a great plan. Not sure how much we will plan around Winnipeg, what with the major renos we are doing next year, but we'll see. After heading east from Banff, I know of a great camping spot an hour off the Trans Canada, where camping is free, and the fellow campers are all friendly.

And on the way home, there is always that place in our easy pull into field just about 35 minutes off I-90. It's all native prairie now so you can hang out with the butterflies, birds, deer, turkeys, etc in there.

I just sent in the ETI registration form and there was space to register for Thursday wine tour this time too. We are planning to arrive Wed, leave Monday.

Will likely head somewhere else in BC after on our way back. We did the Kamaloops, Jasper, Banff loop in 2010. I would like to see more of the BC lake country interior this time.

Tammy will be providing updates as the rally gets closer. Normally there is a tour on Saturday and if there is demand for more, another tour on Friday and this year there were tours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It all depends on how many are interested.

Hopefully all goes good, and nothing unforeseen comes up, Alf. It would be great to see you and Mary Ann again. If baglo and Anna-Marie come, there will be 5 Escape Forum first day members there (counting Reace)

You'd think so, Alf. We did get to make some great friends since then, and that is something.

Do you realize, our 10 year anniversary was on Oct 31, and we missed it. LOL

This is a list of the enrolment that first day that Jeff started the site up. I know some don't think it means much, but it does to me.

Linda (assisting Tammy with registration) confirmed our Thursday wine tour reservations. They are currently taking reservations for all three days, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

Someone on that list is certainly more loquacious than all the others...

What about to throw an old fashioned party for all the "latecomers"?

We are booked for our first Customer Appreciation rally. I was told by the campground that Escape has reserved 180 sites. I can't imagine that many Escapes in one place!
So how do sites get assigned? First ones in get the C sites and late comers get the off sites?
Also, how do you pronounce Nk'Mip?? I could never catch it when they answered the phone.
I only ask because I'm from the 'Show Me' state.

In our experience, regardless of which site you reserved, if someone arrives before you do and wants it, it's theirs. We really disliked that, but it is what it is.

We've always pronounced it NIK MIP, but we could be wrong.
