Alf,
I guess the Niagara Wine Escape 2020 Rally is not gonna happen, huh?

I think it maybe too soon to call. Some states are hoping to reopen by June 1st, some May 1st and some are now?

Hi: Red Dog... At the moment we are in a wait-n-see mode for The Niagara Wine Escape in Sept. I sure hope we'll be able to hold some or all of the events as usual. We are ready to go camping NOW!!! Where's that cooking wine? Alf

Yes, we always travel with our 2 dogs. Just have a letter signed by your vet that their shots are current. They have been to Canada over a dozen times without incident. The Niagara Rally is a beautiful place right on the river and about 1.5 miles from the Canadian side of the falls. Continue a little further to Niagara on the Lake a cute town on Lake Ontario and the entire area is wine territory, like Napa Valley but in Canada.

Jim that was our plan. We wanted to go to the Maritimes in August then attend the Niagara rally followed a week later by the Mississippi one but we're holding off on booking anything except we did book for Miss. as can always get a refund.

Adrian,
If everything is open then, you guys could stop at Algonac Rally, continue to Niagara and then hit Mississippi on return- a trifecta........

The shortest answers I’ve ever posted to two questions.
Yes ( Dogs at Niagara)
Yes. (Mississippi Rally)
(For the past 5 years)
Have a great day! (Couldn’t help myself)

Riverside not taking reservations from the US

I called Riverside Campground today and was told that due to the border closing they are not taking reservations from US citizens. She said to call back the end of June.

I plan to call back sooner if there is an announcement prior to the end of June.

We are looking forward to this rally, we have not been to this one before. After leaving Niagara we will head to the Mississippi Rally at Thomson IL. We do have reservations at the Corp of Engineers campground in Cross Lake, MN for the end of July and first week of August. Other than that nothing on the agenda although we might take a short camping trip in June just to get away.

It is one of our favorites and only 7 hours away, compared to Mississippi which is double that and Osoyoos, which is double the double that.... Niagara on the Lake is a nice town on Ontario about 5 miles away and Alf puts on great rally, this will be our 5th one in 4 different Escapes....

I remember attending our first Escape rally in September 2012 at Niagara after taking possession of our 2012 E19 earlier that summer. I was cooking some Spam when the cg owner, Cecelia came over and wanted to know what smelled so good. I gave her a piece and since then I always bring up a can for her. Maybe we should consider Niagara for our little Spamarama for brunch that friday? I'm sure Cecelia would not mind......
