Hi Bobbie, we have a reservation Apr 21-24 at Ft Casey. Taking delivery of our 23 Escape tomorrow. So looks like we’ll make it ok. Our site # is 21. Don’t think we’re on your list

I need a favor from. Rally attendees.

We were at Casey April 1. My wife thinks she left her Apple Watch in the shower area.
Her phone is saying it was last seen there.

Would someone check with Host if it was found.?

Let me know at 360-303-8484

Thanks

Cancel that request.

I got to thinking that she had not been in the trailer since we got back because she hurt her foot. Checked the trailer and found the watch tucked away on a shelf.

Thanks.

Fort Casey Rally 2024 is a rousing success with 25 Escapes in attendance during the several day event. The models are evenly distributed among 17s, 19s, 21s, and 5.0s with two stand-alones--a single 15 and and brand new 23 that has drawn a lot of attention.

Thank you to Bobbie for organizing another enjoyable event!

Another view--but that outlier is blocking three more Escapes. In the foreground, the site of Bobbie's informative Dutch oven cooking school tonight...always a highlight of the rally.

Today's lesson will be "How to cook in the rain." Or hopefully "while anticipating rain."

Well, the rain and the wind held off and we had a wonderful time with absolutely delicious food. Our onsite cooks...Bobbie making a beans-and-meat dish; Randy & Anne prepping for homemade dinner rolls in the Dutch oven; Bobbie, Kate (Dutch oven corn pudding), and Anne standing by; and Jane & Ed providing us with homemade corn tortillas...

For those of us still here at Ft. Casey- IF it isn't raining and isn't too windy, Karen said she'd have a fire tonight. So keep an eye out if it is looking decent (no rain, wind has died some now but could get worse again). (We realize this is a very long shot!) She's in 9.

Also, I have an unclaimed metal bowl (had blueberres and strawberries) and a chair from Tuesday night. I'll take both home with me if the owner has alread left.

Update: the rain started right on time to veto that! Stay warm and dry in your Escapes, everyone!

FYI: next year's dates: April 27-May 1 (2 if you want but the senior pass won't work in May.)
