I have one of these but I haven't had occasion to use it much. It doesn't take up hardly any space!

Disney world campground has a laundry and an APP you can use which tells you when your loads are finished! I thought it was neat, but that's Disney world!

Not to be confused with a "case" meaning a 12 case of beer.

My town has one of those. Best part is you can pay from the app and don't need to carry any quarters!

Another problem we had with the portable washing machine was on our sailboat. We carried 200 gallons of fresh water, but water was our limiting factor. We carried several months worth of food, diesel was basically unlimited, but we had enough water for 6 weeks in those isolated coves in paradise. Fast forward to the Escape's 28 gallon holding tank. We find water to be our number 1 limiting factor, we can make it last 7-10 days but no longer. So a washing machine would take away water and days available to stay at that perfect boondocking location. If you need to get more water you are near a laundromat.

At times while travelling with a backpack, we did very small batches of laundry by putting clothes on the shower floor, plugging the drain, showering and using the water to wash the clothes. Scrubbed with additional soap as needed. After draining the water, wrung the clothes out, replugged the drain and rinsed them. (They could also be rinsed in a bucket to reduce grey water.) Wrung them out again, rolled them in a towel, and hung them on a line we strung up. I just got my 17b and plan to try it there.
