Time stamp on posts

I am following a thread that started yesterday and is continuing today. I am a little confused about the date/time posted for each comment. The date is Today and the times are in the afternoon, later than current time in Eastern time zone. Is the time stamp generated by the server(s) or local time/host?

The time is configurable in your user cp. If you set it to your local time the post time stamp will display appropriately.

Thanks Janet - My time was set to 0 UTC/GMT. I guess by default. Never really looked at all the options in the User CP areas. Maybe I'll add a avatar.....
