"No strings," as in, no credit card requested and no automatic renewal? If so, that is pretty cool!

I received the email. I had just reupped my subscription through the Apple Store, so RVLife suggested that I cancel it and just use their 2 year free subscription, which I did.
We like the RVLife app. Having the use of an RV friendly GPS has paid off for us in the past. Not having to use a dedicated RV type unit like a Garmin is icing on the cake.

This is more out of curiosity than whining, but what’s the cutoff for receiving this “thank you?” We try to help others when we can, but with our first Escape trailer (and first RV at all) not in our possession until this coming May there’s not much more we can offer at this point. Maybe next year for us. Thanks to everyone who has or will help us this time around though.

Ten hours after that was posted. I went to the web site, logged in with my forum credentials, and it demands payment.

Yep, apparently we are not among those "most active forum members" invited to the deal with an email from the Escape Forum Team (at least not yet in 'this round').
So it goes, certainly not cause for despair, Have Fun Anyway!

Yes. Because you have to have been on the forum for some amount of time, and/or made a certain number of post contributions to be invited for this free subscription.
I have my invite. Haven't subscribed. Not interested.

I guess the criteria is quantity of posts over quality. I may have to change the tag line on my posts.

Not sure how they quantify the "active" criteria. I've just under 100 posts in 4.5 years and I received the email offer.

Even though I don’t have time to play with it right now, I thought I would see if I could login. I was successful and started the set up like brand of trailer, height, length etc.
Interesting to see that even though they have/own the Escape forum they do not consider the manufacture of Escape significance enough to list it in the setup procedure. I guess we are just an “other’.

It's there - maybe in your spam folder. You don't really need the email however - you can just login

Please post your results. We're just now planning a trip from SoCal to Green Bay, and I'll try it on their Wizard. It would be interesting to compare results (I would expect a lot of similarity!)

Watching the videos will really help. Planning your trip as described with a start then finish and filling in the blanks works great. There are tons of filters for campgrounds and you can do exactly like you want. Look on the right hand side at in the Research area for the filters.
