Hi from "Free Spirit"
Ian and I are picking up our Escape 19' trailer, "Free Spirit." in Chilliwack May 28th We are so excited to start this new journey in our lives. We have only done tent camping before but we realize it is time to upgrade to the finer things in life such as a real bed, etc. Thanks to all of you for your informative comments re: Escape Trailers! Welcome Holly and Ian. That's going to be an epic trip from NJ to BC. You get to see the Black Hills, Montana, the Idaho Panhandle and the Cascades on the way! Just a suggestion as to routing.

Yes, Bruce, we are! It is fortuitous that the rally starts the day after we pick up "Free Spirit." That is totally blind luck! We are heading to the campground a day before the rally starts. We will be at the rally and then plan to go to Glacier National Park for a few days.

How exciting! Our orientation is scheduled for 8 am. Then, we are heading to the rally a day before it starts. Are you attending the rally, as well? Where are you traveling from?

Our orientation is at 11 am. After, we are headed back to California. We should see you at the plant after your orientation and before ours.

I guess I was "lurking?" I found out so much information from this site. Now that "Free Spirit" has a name, she seems more real to us! We also just finalized our build sheet.

I wonder how many build sheets are submitted and not changed. Ours had 6 revisions in two weeks (our build got moved up 6 months and we suddenly had to get serious.)

We thought about going to the rally but then thought about taking the trailer back into Canada without California plates in place, so we are headed home after picking ours up in northern WA state. I hope we don't have any trouble on the way home.
