Self introduction
Hello All
We want to come in and introduce ourselves. We are Jim (Leisure Lee) and Rosella (Dash) from Stratford, Ontario, and we recently purchased a 2011 Escape 19 from a very nice couple, who had put together a group of upgrades and options that made us say "wow"!. We don't think we would have done anything different .
We have been reading this forum and find it most helpful in too many ways to mention. We just brought our "new" Escape home, spent some time becoming familiar with it, and then had to winterize it and now it is tucked away until spring. We are thinking and planning for spring and we look forward to many exciting adventures both with our Escape- and fellow Escapers!!

Ditto to that Sandra L, it's like one big family! Even the occasional squabbles are enjoyable and educational. I love the wide array of backgrounds and oppinions represented here.

Alf: according to Dash it was far enough!! A great adventure though, and I'm sure the first of many. I will have to tell you about it in Niagara, if not before. It really confirmed for us that 'lots of people on this forum", and the Escape owners we dealt with are a "very nice, knowledgeable, helpful and honest people, as you pointed out Sandra L.
We had stopped in to Escape Industries this summer while we were vacationing close by, met Reace and Tammy and were able to compare the different models. As others have repeatedly mentioned, they are so willing to make your experience a positive one, and the quality of the product is a major selling feature. We felt there were several sizes that were quite appealing for their own individual reasons. We eventually decided that we really liked the 19, and felt it would serve us well for many years. We gave ourselves some time to think about it and were planning on ordering - just sorting out options, when we became aware of this one, which we felt was an excellent fit.
Reading this forum for direction, we winterized it, took the batteries out and tucked it away. We now can plan and dream of travelling and meeting some or all of you "down the road". This forum is an absolute wealth of information, with a host of knowledgeable members willing to take the time to assist where possible. We hope to be able to contribute. On that note, we do live close to Stratford Ontario, known for world class theater, and we do have room to overnight some RV's if you happen to be travelling in this area. We would love to meet you!
Jim and Rosella
