Still 2 lane with swamp on both sides. It was raining, but I don’t think we hit any frogs.

Didn’t take pictures today. Did the Jamestown sites and a little in colonial Williamsburg and then went to William and Mary baseball since my nephew is a pitcher there.

Good for you. Often, if you concentrate on taking pictures, you miss the experience.

They won yesterday and lost today. The real reason we went is in the picture.

Since we “had” to go watch him play, we wanted to see some new things, and some things again. Some time in Williamsburg this morning before baseball.

Tomorrow is our last baseball game, and we have a little longer in Williamsburg before heading to D.C.

Yep the whole 2 month trip is to watch Garrett pitch a few innings. We might as well have some fun along the way.

More time in colonial Williamsburg today, dinner at Kings Arms tavern tonight, and W&M won their game today. 2-1 for the weekend series.

Lots of walking to do.

The last time I was there I'm pretty sure I broke the record for steps in one day.

Yes, yesterday we walked about 11 miles. Today we went to Manassas battlefield site of Bull Run 1 and 2 in 1861 and 1862. We also hit Aldi and Walmart and washed clothes.

Tomorrow we read, and build a campfire. Tough day, but somebody has to do it.

Sunday we head to James River SP so we can go to Appomattox and Monticello.

James River SP. It has big sites and is an International Dark Sky site. We will visit Appomattox tomorrow and Monticello on Tuesday and then go back to the mountains.
