Snow Bird Time!
Heading out tomorrow from Oregon to S. California, AZ, and possibly NM for a few months! Attending the Pow Wow at the Pechanga Casino/Resort near Lake Elsinore CA, (5-7 Jan) then heading to Quartzite for one night, then to Phoenix for a month or so, then down to Tucson and possibly up and over to Santa Fe NM before heading home sometime in March.
If anyone has any stops they recommend along I-5, then I-10 over to Phoenix please do. Also, for one night in Quartzite are we better off at Dome Rock or Plomosa Road? Never been there, at least to camp.
I can't wait to get out of the rain, rain, and did I say rain? Hope we see some of you on the road.
