17b build sheet in...

Now the wait but since I have my 15 I'm, still going camping when I can. Happy to see my July Ft. Casey trip is on- but there won't likely be any cruise ships to watch which was the original plan. Then a September trip just before pickup and I just booked one for the week after.

I got the things I'm upgrading for- solar, bathroom, more storage, AC, and thanks to whoever it was who mentioned it, that new high profile Thetford toilet! And nicer colors.

And the final decision- solar fits in the garage, AC vs. door motor is a "wait and see" as it is very close.

I hope the border opens so I can have a real orientation but the company is doing a great job with distance sales and orientation, including one on one video tours if you want. (And thanks, Mimi, for doing a couple more for me in your 17b!)

Congratulations on you order. Don't worry you have a inch to spare in the garage . I don't think you see that border open for orientation.

Neither do I. But either way will work. Just hope it isn't opening through an abundance of caution and not because Washington's numbers are growing.

What is this toilet that you speak of?

It's like a comfort height for an RV. Same footprint as the regular toilet but taller. I forget who mentioned it but am grateful they did, because I think it will be a great upgrade. You can see it on the Thetford site (I'd link but I'm on slow connection and Thetford is really slow.)

Talk about anal.
I would think the level of comfort would depend on the length of your legs. Wouldn't you have to try the toilets and compare the level of comfort?
Keep in mind that the toilet sits atop the black tank.

Yes it would be prudent for someone to check to make sure an additional 4.5” in height is necessary. For many it would likely be too high since the toilet already sits on the black tank.

It would certainly be a shame to have regressed backwards to having a stool for your feet while on the throne, just like when you were a tyke.....
