I did the cushions and it made the bed more comfortable. That little step will trip you more often that the lack of view will disappoint you.

Reace, Tammy and everyone at ETI were just wonderful folks. Everything that happened this morning was just confirmation that we chose wisely when we chose an Escape.
There were a few things still undecided and they're all settled now. There's no substitute for getting your questions answered in person.
Anyway, about 8k in options when all was said and done. Could have been worse.
Lastly, Chilliwack is beautiful and I love it here but I do have a question for my Canadian friends: is there nowhere up here to get a glass of real iced tea? All anyone seems to have is the netstea/lipton stuff.

Tea is horrid stuff. Single malt scotch is preferred!

I missed this part when you first posted. Most iced tea served in restaurants in Canada is terribly sweet, more like a soda pop. I much prefer it to taste like....well, iced tea, nice an refreshing, where you could sweeten a bit as desired. I have found most places in the US offer the latter. Hey, I guess you guys have to win at something.

Oh yeah, Scotch most definitely has its place. I have built up a fairly good selection of about a dozen choices now. And, it is growing at a faster rate than I am drinking it.

Now you're making me want to open up that bottle of Talisker 12 in the pantry.

Well, the build sheet is now signed and sent. No changes from the sheet on post #96. About 35K CAD (ouch!) But MAN we are excited to have it turned in and for production to start soon. I can't thank the forum enough for answering about a thousand questions and for all the advice. What I knew of Escape when we put our deposit down vs what I know now can't be compared. Thanks all!

Yeah, but 35k Canadian pesos, is about $5k in those big Texas bucks, right?
Aren't you glad that all the members around here were able to help you spend your money?

He He...thanks Jim -- I think. Down here in Texas we have a name for folks who excel at spending other people's money: politicians.
